Molly-Mae Hague breaks fan's hearts with Bambi video before sharing roof horror with her cat

Molly-Mae Hague has given both a candid and adorable insight into her first few weeks as a mum. The former Love Island star welcomed her first child into the world with her boyfriend Tommy Fury towards the end of last month.

Molly-Mae, 23, gave birth to the couple's daughter, who they have named Bambi, on January 23 in a hospital in London after sighting privacy reasons for not welcoming their little girl into the world in the North West. Announcing her arrival to their millions of social media followers on January 30 with a sweet black and white snap of the new family-of-three.

The couple, who met and fell in love on Love Island in 2019, then announced 24 hours later that they had named their little girl the Disney-inspired name, Bambi. Influencer Molly-Mae has since got back in front of the camera to share all about her labour, saying Tommy, also 23, saw 'everything' and 'sobbed' the whole time.

The influencer got candid as she told her loyal followers about her daughter's arrival into the world while also speaking out on the backlash over her name. She said: "I switched Instagram comments off. I was brought back down to earth very quickly of how nasty this world can be."

Molly-Mae explained: "Because we'd literally known that our first baby girl was going to be called Bambi, we had gotten so used to the idea that that was going to be her name and to us it wasn't really that unusual anymore. And I know it's unusual and unique and not going to be to everyone's taste, but when we announced it, in my mind it was just beautiful, it's her, she's Bambi and that's a beautiful name, amazing, amazing... and then just two seconds after posting it I was like, 'Oh my God!'"

But now, Molly-Mae has been breaking hearts by sharing a montage of clips from her first three weeks with Bambi, who she has previously nicknamed 'BamBam'. The montage featured videos of her sweetly cradling her baby girl, as well as kissing her head in front of her envy-inducing wardrobe.

Other clips saw Manchester boxer Tommy clearly doting on his baby girl as he was seen with Bambi laying on his chest as he planted a kiss on her. Things did get a bit more candid, however, in which the newborn could be seen laying on her changing mat as Molly-Mae and her older sister Zoe attempted to change her nappy.

Both of them grimaced as they looked down at the nappy before sharing a laugh. "The last 3 weeks have taught me what love really means," the Pretty Little Thing creative director captioned the post.

Sister Zoe was among the first to reply, writing: "Obsessed with her. The most special memories." Mrs Hicnh, aka Sophie Hinchliffe, replied: "Everything about this. The Love, The Lyrics, The Realness. Bambi is so so beautiful and I’m just so happy inside for you all." Love Island co-star and bestie Maura Higgins commented: "So special," alongside a string of crying emojis.

And fans were just in awe of the sweet tribute. @tfrtc said: "Nooooo molly this has broken my heart in the best way possible. All these little moments aren’t little. Soooooooo beautiful and i promise it just gets better." @odollsfanx wrote: "Noooo stop this is too precious."

@cchloelizabethh commented: "Ohhhh these are sooo cute. Makes me miss the newborn state SO much." @mollymaediary posted: "What a beautiful couple of weeks. Please keep showing us this side of your life, we love it!" @staceyirishx_ shared: "Awwwh beautiful welcomes to motherhood." @rose__________xo added: "Makes me cry as brings those early days back. There is no love like it in the whole wide world. Nothing compares."

Molly-Mae has since returned to Instagram and shared her horror after her cat, Egg, got stuck on the roof of their home for two days. Sharing a video of her pet on the roof in the dark, she penned on her Instagram Story: "So. Eggy managed to get himself stuck on our roof... for nearly two days. I actually can't believe it."

Explaining further, she wrote: "We tried everything to get him down but the roof is so steep. He tried once to come down and slipped the whole way and luckily landed in the gutter (I literally thought that was it for him when he was falling). We called [the] RSCPA who referred us to the fire brigade who came but wouldn't get him down because they said it was too dark.
