Molly-Mae Hague has asked 'what kind of mother do you think I am' as she hits back at fans' claims she's been having lip filler while pregnant. The former Love Island star is currently more than 30 weeks pregnant with her first child having announced she was expecting with boyfriend Tommy Fury in September.
And last year, Molly-Mae called for an end to the normalisation of cosmetic fillers following fears that she looked like a person from an extreme plastic surgery reality show. The 23-year-old showed her journey and the results of getting the fillers in her face dissolved back in 2020.
Molly-Mae shared how she was worried that she resembled someone from the reality show Botched which sees doctors remedy extreme plastic surgeries gone wrong. The reality star, who found fame in 2019 when she coupled up with Manchester boxer Tommy on the ITV2 reality show previously, said she a turning point came when she took a selfie during a club appearance and was shocked by what she saw.
But it appears fans thought Molly-Mae had gone back under the needle after spotting her plumper lips. Answering whether she's had filler in her latest YouTube vlog, the mum-to-be hit back: "What kind of a mother do you think I am?"
She added: 'I've been having so many questions recently about my lips. People asking whether I've been having lip filler again, which has really been making me laugh. Guys do you really think while being pregnant I would get lip filler? Like, what kind of a mother do you think I am?"
In the same vlog, Molly-Mae was seen in tears after her 4D baby scan didn't quite go to plan. The creative director of Pretty Little Thing took her loyal followers with her to a clinic where she hoped to see her unborn baby girl in a lot more detail.
However, she shared how she was left heartbroken when she wasn't able to get a 4D scan of her unborn baby. Molly-Mae could be seen in the clinic moving and jiggling around to try and get her baby girl into a better position for the scan. The creative director of Pretty Little Thing was doing what she could to get an opportunity to see her unborn child while boxer Tommy watched on with a hilarious look of bewilderment at his girlfriend's moves.
But as she pulled a sad face at the camera, a message read on-screen: "Baby girl was all healthy which is amazing and the most amazing thing but she didn't cooperate for the scan. I tried moving about." But her efforts proved unsuccessful.
Appearing on screen from her car with mascara under her eyes, the pregnant influencer said: "I look nice... Can you believe I've actually just been crying." She added: "That was just a big fat disaster. I think I was just looking forward to it all week and I thought even if they don't get a picture of her they might be able to get just something. Just anything!"
Molly-Mae and Tommy, however, have since headed off on their last 'staycation' before becoming first-time parents. Tommy, 23, surprised his girlfriend with a romantic trip to Bath. Posting a photo of herself wrapped up while doing a spot of shopping, the mum-to-be wrote on Instagram: "Family staycation."
