Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 23, are also celebrating a year since they got the keys to the stunning home they bought together, named Molly Maison. The star shared a picture of their hands holding a pair of wooden house-shaped keyrings saying 'our first home' and the date, April 8 2022, and she wrote: "One year ago today.
Over on the Molly Maison Instagram page dedicated to the house a post showing inside their bedroom and one of their pet cats said: "One year of @mollymaison we got the keys to our home exactly one year ago today ... the best year of our lives."
It took them three years to find their perfect home together and just weeks after moving in Molly-Mae shared that they had been hir with problems. The ceiling in their home was falling down and a shower had leaked.
The model and influencer told fans that the shower in one of their bedrooms had leaked 'really badly'. " She said: "I mean it's fine to have teething issues but when you have your first shower and it leaks everywhere, not very ideal."
The following day she filmed a sopping wet carpet and zoomed in on a black light fitting which was dripping water. She joked in a message alongside the video: "You know what I said about teething issues... just a minor one today, ceilings coming down x".
Molly-Mae later explained how she discovered the leak in a video. "Honestly I just heard a load of dripping noises, walked into our formal living room area, ceiling's coming down," she said.
She continued: "The roof is saturated, the ceiling of the living room is saturated, the carpet is saturated so that's nice. To be fair I think we're only having issues because we're ripping rooms out, pipes are being knocked, water systems are being messed around with so I'll keep you updated."
Molly-Mae previously said the lovebirds, who hit it off from their first date in a hot-tub on Love Island after she arrived as a bombshell latecomer, had begun their 'new chapter' by buying a house together.
After moving in Molly-Mae was seen jumping up and down in delight in a joyous clip shared on her social media. She captioned another post: "Did I dream yesterday?"
Guests arriving at the new home were greeted with a candle and flower display with a pink fairytale book which said: "The next chapter. Once upon a time in a kingdom far, far away." The book also listed their moving-in date "8.4.2022."
