Molly-Mae Hague admits she is struggling to ‘love and accept’ her post-pregnancy body

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about the challenged of learning to “love and accept” her body after giving birth.

The former Love Island star, 23, welcomed her first child Bambi in January with boyfriend Tommy Fury and is already back at work as the creative director at fast fashion brand Pretty Little Thing.

As part of her role, she will be modelling their new collection of clothing and in a new vlog said she felt “nervous” as she headed to a fitting as her body has changed “hugely” since giving birth.

In the vlog shared to her YouTube channel, Hague said: “I’m on the way to my first PLT fitting since having her [Bambi]. I am very nervous, my body has changed hugely since Bambi.

“When I look in the mirror I don’t hate my body but I just look completely different. It looks like I’ve had a BBL! My hips are so wide now.”

Molly-Mae Hague got candid in a new vlog shared to her YouTube channel (YouTube)

She continued: “It’s fine I don’t even hate it. I am learning to love it and accept it. The fitting was fine actually! We are going to Nice to shoot the new collection soon.”

Determined to take action, she revealed that she is currently following a diet plan and “cutting out the rubbish” ahead of manager Fran’s wedding in eight weeks time.

She said: “It’s about time I start eating and training like I am about to be a bridesmaid because I absolutely haven’t been. And that’s fine I’ve just had a baby and I’m absolutely not putting any pressure on myself.

“I’m sticking to a meal plan right now and trying to be really good. I know I’ll feel pants in Barbados if I don’t start to like cut out all the rubbish I have been eating. I ate rubbish for my whole pregnancy and since Bambi has been here I haven’t watched what I’ve eaten at all.”
