Molly-Mae Hague took part in an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday and revealed it was relatively easy to keep her pregnancy a secret.
The former Love Island star, 23, and her beau Tommy Fury, also 23, announced they were expecting their first child together at the weekend, much to the delight of their friends and followers.
However, she revealed she opted against filming the reaction of those closest to the pair when they shared the news. Molly-Mae was asked the question by a follower and replied: "No we didn't [film it]. Something about it just felt kind of un-natural? Even filming Tommy felt strange."
She added it '"really took me a long time to process the news" and confessed to explaining more about this in her next vlog post.
She continued: "I just didn't feel ready to make videos/film things for a good while because I still couldn't comprehend that I was pregnant myself. Sometimes I still don't believe it now (even though I can feel baby move).
Molly-Mae concluded her answer by saying: "I absolutely love watching other peoples pregnancy reaction vids and I always imagined we would make one! But yeah I think I just wasn't ready to get the camera out."
The blonde beauty also opened up on her pregnancy journey so far, admitting it's been relatively simple to date. She confessed she feels "insanely lucky" at the lack of morning sickness she has felt.
The Pretty Little Things Creative Director said: "I have been insanely lucky and haven't had any sickness. Any small amounts of nausea I had at the start were cured instantly by eating a meal/snacks. I was able to keep working and living life as usual which really helped me to keep a secret.
"I know a lot of women experience such horrendous sickness through pregnancy and my heart truly goes out to them because I can imagine it's just awful."
And it's partly due to this lack of sickness that helped her keep the pair's exciting news under wrapped for five months. Molly-Mae added she enjoyed keeping the news out of the public eye, calling it "so special having it as mine and Tommys secret".
She also heaped praise on her circle of friends and family who helped to keep the pregnancy news private.
