Mollie King has been left "heartbroken beyond words" after her dad dies just months after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The Saturdays singer, 35, said that her family's world had been "shattered" back in August when he received the diagnosis.
Taking to Instagram, Mollie shared a selection of sweet photos with her dad and revealed that he had died last week.
She wrote: "Heartbroken beyond words. In August, my family’s world was shattered when my Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Last week, we had to face the day we hoped would never come and say goodbye. Dad, we love you with all our hearts and we will miss you every single day.
"You have been our hero and it’s impossible to think of our lives without you. You have always been there for us with every step we’ve taken and you even held on a few extra days to meet baby Annabella. You gave us your everything. You will be in our hearts and our memories every single day."
Among those paying tribute included her former Strictly co-star Karen Hauer, who wrote: "Oh Mollie, so sorry for your loss. Sending love."
While Zoe Ball commented: "mollie i'm so sorry. sending you so much love."
Jordan North wrote: "Oh Molly, I’m am so sorry to hear this news. Thinking of you and sending all my love to you, and all your family."
"So sorry, just heartbreaking for you Mollie. Sending so much love & a huge hug," Charlotte Hawkins commented.
The sad news comes just days after Mollie gave birth to her daughter with fiancé Stuart Broad.
"Welcome to the world Annabella Broad. We have never been so in love," the new mum wrote as she shared snaps of her newborn with her Instagram followers.
"YEAAAAH [love-heart eyes emoji," Mollie's Radio 1 collegue Clara Amfo commented underneath the star's announcement.
"How awesome! Congrats," Stuart's cricket pal Kevin Pietersen wrote, as Gemma Atkinson added: "Ahhh Mollie!!! Congratulations."
In the sweet images, shared by both Mollie and Stuart, the new parents can be seen enjoying a day out with their baby daughter looking cosy in a fluffy white onesie by a river.
At the end of last month, Mollie shared an emotional post with her Instagram followers as she gave fans a glimpse of her huge baby bump and signed off on maternity leave.
"I can’t wait to show them to our little one when she is old enough and these pictures will be such a lovely memory of my pregnancy now that I’m in the last few weeks," the singer-turned-presenter said of the adorable snaps.
She went on to add: "Today is officially my first day of maternity leave - it feels like it’s flown by but my body is wanting me to rest now! It’s definitely telling me that all cooking and cleaning is off the cards, isn’t that right @stuartbroad."
"I really have turned into such a cliche though, I’m in full nesting mode, I’m finding things in the flat that haven’t needed doing for the last 10 years but of course need doing now," Mollie confessed as she asked her followers if they had any tips for essential purchases ahead of her daughter's birth.
