Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received on Monday telephone calls from Arab and international leaders, who were reassured about the health of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

He received a call from Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Crown Prince Mohammed expressed his appreciation to the leaders for their kind gesture.

Erdogan also expressed his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for the warm welcome accorded to him during his recent state visit to the Kingdom.

King Salman had undergone successful medical tests at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah.

The Royal Court said Sunday that the King will stay in hospital for some time to rest on doctors' advice after undergoing a colonoscopy.

Gulf leaders have congratulated King Salman on the success of his tests.
