Mohamed Salah has been crowned the Liverpool Fans’ Footballer of the Year for 2022.
The Egyptian beat three of his fellow team-mates to scoop the award for a third consecutive year. It follows on from Salah 's triumphs in 2020 and 2021.
The ECHO offered Liverpool fans to vote for their best player for the calendar year, with Salah running out the clear winner among supporters. The 30-year-old, who signed a new contract with the Reds earlier in the year, won the award with 76% of the vote among Liverpool fans.

Salah has been in solid form this year for Liverpool, scoring 22 goals since the start of January. He helped the Reds win two major trophies and reach the Champions League final as well as a second-place finish in the Premier League table.
Liverpool fans voted for Salah as their winner, with Alisson Becker in second place with 15% of the vote. The Brazilian has been in fine form for Liverpool this season, despite the club struggling for consistency in the Premier League.
Luis Diaz was next with 6% of the vote, ahead of Thiago Alcantara who won 3% of the vote. Diaz, who is currently on the sidelines with injury, has impressed since his January move from Porto, while Thiago is held in high regard among supporters.
