Mohamed Salah spotted with Liverpool squad amid huge injury boost for Arsenal clash

Liverpool have received a huge injury boost ahead of tonight's Premier League game with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. There were concerns that Mohamed Salah may miss the game after hobbling off during the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

That would have been great news for Gunners boss Mikel Arteta not having to see his team face off against the Egyptian star. But it appears as though any injury worries were premature, with Salah set to be in the squad for the game in north London tonight.

The Liverpool squad have been spotted taking a walk around central London ahead of the game tonight, with one fan capturing the Reds, led by Jurgen Klopp, near Hoxton. It appears to be part of a pre-match routine, with the squad all together for the pre-match walk in central London.

And Salah was seen with his teammates on the walk, laying to rest any fears over the injury he suffered at the weekend. Manager Klopp had already tried to allay fears his star man would be missing, during his pre-match press conference.

Salah was replaced by Diogo Jota just after the hour mark on the south coast, having sustained a knock to his foot earlier on in the second-half which inevitably sparked fears Salah would be unavailable for the game against Arsenal, especially after he was forced to undergo tests to determine the extent of the damage and was ruled out of training on Monday as a precaution.

However, Klopp said: "Mo is a tough cookie. We were quite happy and lucky. Swollen, painful, today less so. Got a message before the presser he's ready to train. We'll see how that looks."

Salah has scored seven goals in nine Premier League games against the Gunners and will be looking to make it a third league game in a row against Arteta's men in which he has found the back of the net.

Speaking about Liverpool ahead of the clash, Arteta said: "Credit to Jurgen, the coaching staff and to the club as well for what they have created. They haven't just created a team that can compete and be successful, They have created a huge cultural understanding of who Liverpool is today. The stadium and the atmosphere they can create, the support, the level, how they communicate. It's a long of things, not just individuals, or the players that they have recruited and the plan that they had to reach that level. It's a whole plan that I really value I think. We all want to achieve the same thing: to be the best team in this league and that's our focus."
