Mohamed Salah names key factor in Liverpool quadruple push
Mohamed Salah praised the mindset of his Liverpool team-mates and insists they are capable of winning 'any trophy' they put their minds to.
The Reds booked their place in the Champions League final on Tuesday night after a 5-2 semi-final aggregate win over Villarreal. Liverpool , who will face Real Madrid in the final, are in with the chance of becoming the first English side to win the quadruple and Salah 's 30 goals and 15 assists have been a huge reason for this.
The Egyptian has highlighted how he is pleased with his goals and assists return this season but the main thing for him is always the team winning. The Reds return to Premier League action on Saturday night when they host Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking after picking up his Football Writers' Award 2022, Salah said: "Most of us have been together for five years now. We know what it takes to win. We just need to focus and give 100%. We were 2-0 down in the last game and we came back - that’s really important for our mindset. We have the mindset that we can win any trophy.
“The amount I have scored is really good - the assist number as well is really good. The main thing is the team winning, but overall I am really happy about how the team is doing and what I’m doing as well. I just try to enjoy my football, enjoy my time at the club and help the team to win trophies - that is the most important thing.”

Ex-Liverpool star takes aim at Pep Guardiola
Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has taken aim at Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola - claiming that he likes to suffocate teams and players with his tactics.
Hamann, who also represented City in his playing days, was speaking after his former club’s Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid .
Taking a 4-3 lead into the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, Riyad Mahrez’s 73rd minute goal had put Guardiola's two goals clear in the tie. But that was until one of the most dramatic comebacks of all time.
Rodrygo scored a stunning equaliser before he dramatically headed Madrid ahead just seconds later. Ruben Dias then went in clumsily on Karim Benzema in the opening five minutes of extra-time and gave away a penalty - which the striker slotted home to send his side to the final as 6-5 aggregate winners.
And when reflecting on the game post-match, Hamann couldn’t help but take aim at the City boss for the way he sets his side up. The former Germany international also made comparisons between the Catalan and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Madrid chief Carlo Ancelotti.
“If you give players responsibility they act responsible. If you try to play the game for them they won’t,” the German wrote on Twitter.
“Guardiola suffocates teams and players to make their own decisions. Compare that to Ancelotti or Klopp teams.”
