Mohamed Salah 'offered' £40m deal by surprise club as Divock Origi exit quickens

Liverpool's recent FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest reinforced just how strong Jurgen Klopp's side truly is.

With seven changes made to the starting-eleven, the Reds were without the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane but managed to secure a 1-0 victory courtesy of a late Diogo Jota strike.

The January signing of Luis Diaz saw Liverpool complete yet another smart piece of transfer business, and supporters will be hoping there is more where that came from this summer. A number of departures could, too, be on the cards as the club strives for continual improvement.

We have rounded up the latest rumours relating to the Reds, which can be read below.

Who?

Mohamed Salah

Where?

Gazzetta

What?

Juventus are looking to lure Mohamed Salah to Serie A and are prepared to offer a significant financial package to make this possible, it has been claimed. The Egyptian winger is out of contract at Anfield next summer and is yet to reach an agreement over a new deal with Liverpool.

Recent developments in Turin have suggested that the Old Lady are set to lose Paulo Dybala this summer on a free transfer after talks with the Argentine broke down, which could enable the club to direct their attention towards Salah in the market.

It is claimed that Juventus are ready to offer Salah a four-year deal worth £10million per season net.

Who?

Jeremy Doku

Where?

Calciomercato

What?

Liverpool are said to be 'evaluating' a move for Rennes winger Jeremy Doku, who was previously linked with a move to Anfield last summer. The report claims that the 19-year-old star had 'been followed' during his days with previous employers Anderlecht and is understood to be of interest once more.

Doku's breakthrough campaign arrived last season, during which he made 30 appearances in Ligue 1 and later impressed at Euro 2020 with Belgium.

Who?

Divock Origi

Where?

Sky Sport Italy

What?

AC Milan will reportedly 'accelerate' a move for Liverpool forward Divock Origi in the coming days as the Italian giants look to beat off other sides for the signing of the Belgian forward. It is claimed that Milan have 'moved ahead of other suitors' and hope to close an agreement within the next seven days.

The Serie A side currently have Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on their books, both of whom are into the latter stages of their careers and have only a limited time remaining competing at the top-level. Origi, at 26, still has time to develop as a player and has already shown Milan the threat he can be, having scored against Stefano Pioli's men in the Champions League earlier this season.
