Mohamed Salah not happy as Andy Robertson has last laugh in Liverpool behind scenes FIFA 23 footage

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was left in disbelief as he found out defender Andy Robertson was stronger than him in the new FIFA 23 video game.

With the new version of the EA Sports game being released on Friday, September 30, Liverpool released behind-the-scenes footage of Diogo Jota, who is a renowned player of the game, and Kostas Tsimikas presenting their fellow team-mates with a copy of the new game while also capturing their reaction to their new Ultimate Team rating.

In the video, which was uploaded to Liverpool's YouTube channel on Friday afternoon, Tsimikas and Jota entered the gym at the AXA Training Centre where they presented Salah and Robertson with their ratings.

While receiving an incredible 90-rated card for this year's edition, after his impressive return over the course of the 2021/22 season, the Egyptian was left rather unimpressed with some aspects of his ratings, including physical and defending.

"Defending 45?" laughed Salah. "Did you see the last game?".

Liverpool owners FSG 'no longer in fight' to purchase new football team

Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group are no longer in the running to acquire Atletico Mineiro, according to reports in Brazil.

The Reds owners, who have been linked with a purchase in the South American football market to add to their stable of clubs, were reported to be one of the interested parties in taking a majority stake in the Brazilian Serie A team, with Paris Saint-Germain owners Qatar Sports Investments, headed by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, having also been among those said to be looking at acquiring the club.

But Brazilian media outlet Radio Itatiaia have claimed that while initial talks took place with Atletico chiefs with both FSG and QSI, neither will be moving forward with any deal, the interest in the Brazilian side from FSG first reported by well followed Atletico Mineiro fan channel Falo Galo.
