Mohamed Salah has jokingly admitted that he occasionally gets “angry” with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds are currently gearing up for the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday night. Liverpool face the La Liga giants at the Stade de France in Paris, looking to win their seventh European Cup.
Salah has played in 50 of Liverpool’s 62 matches so far this season, and missed five due to being away with Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations. And the 29-year-old has jokingly said that he has been “angry” with Klopp when he hasn’t been selected for matches.

“He’s a great manager for all of us, we all have a great relationship with him,” Salah told BT Sport. “I think he’s played a big role for the club to win trophies, for sure.
“I think he knows how to make everyone around the team happy,” Salah added, before jokingly saying: “Sometimes he makes me angry, he knows that!”
When asked for a reason why, Salah said: “Because he tells me that it’s not normal that you play every minute in the league.
“But I always say ‘look, if I recover good and do everything good then why not’, but I understand,” Salah finished, with a smile.
Salah also reflected on the final day of the Premier League season, which saw Liverpool lose out to Manchester City on the title. The Reds beat Wolves 3-1, but it was not enough to leapfrog City who came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 on Sunday.
Speaking about the moment he scored to put Liverpool 2-1 up against Wolves, Salah explains how he asked the Anfield crowd for an update on the Man City score, as well as the initial emotions he felt when he found the back of the net.
“Everyone in the dressing room was disappointed,” said Salah.
“You can see in a picture that my friend sent me, when I celebrated after scoring. The way I celebrate was crazy.
“After I celebrated I asked the fans immediately what the result was [Man City against Villa], and they told me 3-2.
“I asked the fans, because when I went onto the pitch I asked the players behind the bench for the score and they said Villa were 2-0 up.
“So Villa were winning, I thought maybe City could score one or two. So in my mind, my goal was going to win the league.
“In my mind I was celebrating as we had won the league, until that moment. So we all celebrate, everyone comes to me and I ask the fans ‘what’s the result?’ and they told me 3-2 [to Man City].
“But after the game, everyone in the dressing room was very disappointed. I was really disappointed, but this is football and you have to accept it.”
