Liverpool's match against Wolverhampton Wanderers was postponed on Saturday alongside all other football matches across the UK.
I just can't see the logic and the sense in cricket going ahead, horse racing and all other sports going ahead, and football being custard pied, both professionally and the kids' games. Surely that is not what the Queen would have wanted? People have still got to enjoy themselves while some people will mourn. They could have shown their respects with a one minutes' silence or one minutes' applause - whichever way it falls.
It would have been better, in my opinion, for people who support the monarchy to do it in their own way, be it watching football or playing football with their kids on a Sunday. I just think the decision was totally wrong.

Liverpool got what was coming to them in Naples
Saturday's postponement means that we have had longer to reflect on the Reds' poor showing against Napoli in the Champions League. Unfortunately, we just got what we deserved. Defensively there was just no urgency from us. It was the same in midfield. We just seemed to go through the motions at times.
I wouldn't say they've lost the fire in their belly but we seem to shut off defensively. It comes from the midfield as well but as a whole it was just shambolic against Napoli. We've done it quite a few times this year - against Fulham we conceded a silly penalty to lose points - and it's been the same in other games. Everton could have scored against us as much as we could have scored against them.
We're just not solid. Last year we went through a period where we solidified defensively and started to get clean sheets and started picking up back-to-back wins and that's where we started to get the points and went from strength to strength. That's what you've got to do. You've got to start getting clean sheets, whether you win 1-0, 2-0 or whatever. That's what we're not doing.
The result in Italy was a thumping, although the score line was harsh they got what they deserved. I thought Napoli were really good to be fair, the tactics they deployed came off brilliantly, but we helped them along the way with some shambolic, absolutely ridiculous defending. It was always going to be a hard match for anyone going there but we made it far too easy for them.
The good thing about the Champions League however, is that there's five more games to put that right.
Reds need their stars back and that includes Mohamed Salah
If Liverpool are to get their season back on track they need to quickly rediscover what they're good at. We know it's a squad game these days but we've been missing big players, Henderson and Thiago in particular. But there are also players in the team - their season just hasn't started. They're stuck in reverse and none more so than Mo (Salah).
In the last 12 months he's just not kicked into gear. We need him because he's world class. Whatever he's going through, he needs to snap out of it for the sake of the team and the fans and get back to what he's good at, which is scoring goals, creating goals and being a nightmare to play against. But so far this season and in the latter stages of last season, he's not done it.
Players go through these moments but it's been a long time to Mo. People can't claim it has anything do with uncertainty over his contract now. He signed it and he's happy. He looked lively in the Community Shield and I thought 'here we go'. He's been marked by different types of young players and they've been able to mark him too easily for me. He could be going through a lack of confidence, which happens, but it's a long time. He's a player that we need, like Virgil van Dijk. Right through the core of the team we need these big players. We can't keep blaming this form on injuries, even though they haven't helped, it's an easy cop out.
