Fears eased over Mohamed Salah fitness after Egypt statement
Egypt appear to have eased potential fears over Mohamed Salah’s fitness ahead of a busy run-in for Liverpool.
The Reds have a hectic schedule lined-up in the coming weeks, with the club competing on multiple fronts. The Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League are all up for grabs for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the final months of the season.
Liverpool were handed a potential blow shortly before the international break, with the news that Salah had suffered from a foot problem. After returning in a cameo appearance against Arsenal, the 29-year-old was not risked in the final match before the hiatus against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

Salah recovered from the injury to feature for Egypt in the first leg of their World Cup qualifier against Senegal. Salah's shot led to the only goal of the contest ahead of the second leg, which takes place on Tuesday, but there were suggestions from supporters that he looked like he was playing through pain.
Egypt will be without two of their star defenders in Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, through suspension, and Mohamed Abdelmonem, who has suffered a broken nose, for the decider. But in a statement released by the Egypt FA, via The Mirror , it provided an update on their squad and did not mention Salah.

Trent Alexander-Arnold names 'other' favourite team
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has named Barcelona as one of his 'other favourite teams'.
The academy graduate has spent his entire career so far at Anfield and already has over 200 senior appearances under his belt, despite being just 23 years of age.
He's quickly established himself as one of the best right-backs in the game and has earned plenty of admirers from clubs across Europe. Alexander-Arnold, a boyhood Red, also has a soft spot for Barcelona and says they have 'similar ideas and values' to Liverpool.
“I would say that my other favourite team is Barcelona,” he told British GQ . “I feel that they have the same ideas and values as Liverpool. They like to bring players through the academy.
“I grew up watching [Lionel] Messi and that special Barcelona team with [Andres] Iniesta, Xavi [Hernandez], [Thierry] Henry and [Samuel] Eto’o.”
