Mohamed Salah and Steven Gerrard both share the title of leading goalscorer for Liverpool in European competition with 41.
The Egyptian scored in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Napoli at Anfield to draw level with the Liverpool legend and move to the top of the goalscoring charts for the Champions League this season with seven.
All of Salah 's 41 goals have come in Europe's elite competition whereas 11 of Gerrard 's came in the Europa League and UEFA Cup. The Egyptian will be hoping to be the standalone leader once the knockout stages begin in February.

The 30-year-old took to Instagram to share Liverpool's story of the goals chart and post a heart emoji next to it while tagging the former Reds captain in his post - which Gerrard then shared to his own account.
Salah has been at his prolific best in the Champions League this season and his hat-trick during Liverpool's 7-1 win over Rangers at Ibrox broke the record for the fastest in the history of the competition.
Both Gerrard and Salah have another thing in common in regards to Champions League goals as both have scored in final victories for the Reds - Gerrard's coming in 2005 and Salah's coming 2019.
