The agent of Mohamed Salah has labelled reports that the Liverpool star will consider his future this summer as "nonsense".
Ramy Abbas, whose work with the club last year helped land Salah the most lucrative contract ever handed out at Anfield, dismissed suggestions the Egypt international will think about moving should the Reds fail to land Champions League football this season.
Reports in Spain on Monday sensationally claimed Liverpool were prepared to sell Salah if they did not qualify for the European Cup next term, despite the long-term contract that was penned less than a year ago.

Salah, who has scored 19 times for the Reds this term, only signed a new deal in late June to keep him at Anfield until 2025 and Abbas, who has advised the 30-year-old throughout his time on Merseyside has scoffed at claims hinting at an exit.
Responding to a tweet that said Salah "is prepared to leave Liverpool if the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League", the Colombian agent tweeted: "Nonsense.
"This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds."
Abbas' rebuttal will be welcome news to Reds fans, even if the idea of Salah ending his seven-year stay with the club this summer appears an unrealistic one.
Liverpool's No.11 is expected to start against Wolves on Wednesday night as he goes in search of the 20-goal barrier for the sixth straight season under Jurgen Klopp.
