Mogers Drewett has completed a deal to buy Bath-based Freeman Solicitors, following Freeman director Shaun Freeman’s decision to retire.
The South West legal and financial planning firm intends to grow its market share in both of its services areas with the acquisition.
Freemans Solicitors was established in 1999 and has since developed a specialist private client practice known for its "exceptional client care and service."
Sean McDonough, managing partner of Mogers Drewett, commented: “Shaun has a great reputation for delivering a highly specialised and personalised service to his clients, who will now benefit from a wider range of both legal and financial services offered by Mogers Drewett and we look forward to welcoming his clients.”
Also commenting on the acquisition, the financial details of which were not disclosed, Mr Freeman said: "Mogers Drewett has an excellent private client department and is therefore perfectly equipped to ensure my clients receive the standard of care and level or expertise they need now and in the future, and I shall retire knowing my clients are in safe hands."
The company has offices across Bath, Frome, Sherborne and Wells, offering a range of legal services for individuals and businesses.
