England vice-captain Moeen Ali has lifted the lid on a bet coach Matthew Mott and all-rounder Sam Curran made before the T20 World Cup.
The pair agreed that if England won the tournament, which they did by beating Pakistan in the final, Mott would get his head shaved while Curran would have to dye his hair a colour of the Australian's choosing.
And Moeen has revealed he was tasked with shaving Mott's head during the team's celebrations back at the hotel. "I don't think many of the lads slept on Sunday night," Moeen wrote of England's celebrations in a column for the Daily Mail.
"Trust me, we had some tired faces on the flight to Adelaide from Melbourne on Monday afternoon. The party went on at the ground until 2am.
"It was one of the best celebrations I've been involved in, full of jokes and songs and it carried on at the hotel, where coach Matthew Mott got a trim! The deal was simple.
"He said if we won the World Cup, he would shave his head. Motty called me to the team room where we were all celebrating and I had the trimmer (of course, with my beard) so I got that honour.

"Expect Sam Curran to have his hair dyed over the coming days as part of the deal!" Mott, however, is yet to decide what colour he wants Curran to dye his hair, but the 24-year-old will likely be sporting a new trim when England begin their ODI series against Australia on Thursday.
"I made a silly comment to Sam Curran," he explained. "He was having a go at my lack of hair at one stage and I said 'if we win the World Cup, you can take it off'.
"He held me true but the good thing about it is I get to dye his hair whatever colour I like. I'm still choosing at the moment."
