A new Lidl store is set to open in Liverpool this week, complete with a bakery and exclusive deals and offers for customers.
Lidl's newest Liverpool store will open on Childwall Valley Road for the first time tomorrow, Thursday, December 8. The beloved budget-friendly retailer is known and loved for its wide range of affordable groceries, household essentials, baby care items and more.
To mark the opening of the chain's tenth store in the Liverpool area, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony which will be attended by school children from St Paschal Baylon Catholic Primary School, singing carols to help welcome customers.

The new, modern store will create around 40 new jobs for the local community and, following the discounter's recent wage increase, new starters will be paid the highest rate of any UK supermarket. It boasts the supermarket's ever popular in-store bakery, as well as customer toilets with baby changing facilities.
There's also plenty of parking for cars and bicycles, plus two electric car charging spaces. On opening day, customers will be able to snap up exclusive deals and offers on selected products, such as heated blankets, manicure sets and more.
Lidl GB's regional head of property, Stuart Jardine, commented: "It's fantastic that we're able to open our doors and welcome members of the community into our new Belle Vale store in time for Christmas. This is our tenth store in the area, and along with our want to invest in Liverpool, it aligns with our commitment to ensure as many people as possible have access to our multi-award winning, high-quality products at affordable prices."
The store will open from 8am until 10pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am until 4pm on Sundays. It can be found at 195 Childwall Valley Road, Liverpool, L16 2NA.
