Model Emily Ratajkowski reveals how she feels about having sex on the first date

Model Emily Ratajkowski has opened up about her dating life – and how she feels about having sex on the first date.

The mum-of-one split from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard earlier this year after four years.

The 31-year-old stunner has now dished the details about being newly single and how long she waits before sleeping with someone.

She said: “I've been thinking about this a lot because it speaks so much to power dynamics and sex on the first date is the ultimate example of that because you're dealing with gender dynamics in such a specific little vacuum of a moment," she told her best friend Barbara in the first episode of her podcast High Low with EmRata.

“I think if you're not ready to be vulnerable, that is a reason not to have sex on the first date.”

The My Body author told how she hates when after having sex with someone, they have a ‘I hit that’ vibe.

The Gone Girl star said: “Even when I'm like, ‘This was a fun night, I don't care if this person and I ever interact again,' I still hate when I feel like there's a part of them that feels like, ‘Yeah, I hit that' kind of vibe. Even if they're not the kind of guy who would say that out loud but you can just feel it. That's a reason not to sleep with a man.”

While the beauty said she is “not looking for love necessarily” so soon after her recent split, Ratajkowski wants more than just sex.

“I go on these dates and it's not like I'm going to sleep with someone and then I'm more vulnerable to fall in love, but I feel more.

“If I don't sleep with them, I think about them less. I can forget them in three days.

“I think the conclusion we've come to is that you should do whatever the hell you want to do. But knowing what it is that you want to do is really hard. That's the hard work.”

On a recent date, the I Feel Pretty star revealed she made the first move when she felt she wanted “to be kissed.”

“I kind of grabbed him and kissed him,” she recalled, before stating her date responded: “This is the kind of feminism I can get down with.”

While Ratajkowski did not reveal his name, she's been romantically linked to DJ Orazio Rispo and Brad Pitt.

She also shared her theory on the different types of men she’s come across in the dating pool.

“There are babies, there are monsters and then there are baby monsters,” she claimed.

“The babies are the men who need to be tended to and reassured at every turn. The monsters who are like, ‘Sorry that your mom died but want to come over?’ And then the third are the worst … and those are the men that I can’t handle. They need reassurance, they need to be cradled and suckle at the teat. But then they’re also like, ‘Leave me alone though, woman.'”

She later revealed that she recently had an interaction with both “a baby” and then a “baby or a baby monster” earlier this week.

It comes just weeks after Ratajkowski believes sexuality is on a “sliding scale” and that she doesn't believe in straight people during a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar.

Just a few weeks prior, she sent fans into a frenzy as many believed that she had come out as bisexual over TikTok while responding to a video that asked those who “identify as bisexual” if they “own a green velvet couch.”

The supermodel had dropped a not-so-subtle hint about her sexuality as she showed off her own green velvet couch.
