Dayle Haddon, a well-known model and actress from the '70s and '80s, tragically passed away in an apparent carbon monoxide leak at a residence in Solebury, Pennsylvania. She was 76 years old.
The Solebury Township Police Department reported that Haddon was found deceased in a second-floor bedroom of a detached office/in-law suite on Friday morning. A 76-year-old male, identified as Walter J. Blucas, was also discovered at the scene and is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Walter J. Blucas is the father of actor Marc Blucas, and representatives for the younger Blucas have been contacted for comment.
On her verified Instagram account, Haddon's daughter Ryan Haddon paid tribute to her mother, describing her as a powerful yet gentle woman who was deeply creative, curious, and kind-hearted. The post featured some of Haddon's iconic magazine covers and highlighted her beauty and talent.
Authorities revealed that a faulty flue and exhaust pipe on a gas heating system caused the carbon monoxide leak, emphasizing the importance of carbon monoxide safety precautions in homes.
