Mock offseasons can be both fun and exhausting to write up. We have done so a couple of times so far this offseason but none in a while.
So far this offseason has seen the following additions:
- QB Deshaun Watson
- QB Jacoby Brissett
- WR Amari Cooper
- WR Jakeem Grant
- OL Ethan Pocic
- DE Chase Winovich
- DT Taven Bryan
- P Corey Bojorquez
The team has also brought back Anthony Walker Jr., Ronnie Harrison, Chris Hubbard and Chase McLaughlin and lost Jarvis Landry, Austin Hooper, J.C. Tretter, Rashard Higgins, Mack Wilson, M.J. Stewart, Andy Janovich and Case Keenum.
Added to the losses for 2022 are the team’s first-round pick and their extra fourth-rounder that went out in the Watson trade and the fifth-round pick that went out for Cooper.
Now, looking at the team’s current 53-man roster and we see some needs still exist. Interestingly, many of those needs were present when the offseason started. (Go ahead and click those, they’ll open in new windows, and come back for today’s post)
So what is left on the free-agent market that could help the team? If they make those moves, what could the draft look like?
