Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) on Thursday yet again demanded the DMK government to follow through with its promise of releasing a monthly report card of its performance.
In October, MNM’s founder Kamal Haasan asked when the report card would be released.
In a statement, MNM’s State secretary Senthil Arumugam pointed out that it was 10 months since DMK came to power and the report card had not even been released once.
“Will the Chief Minister release the report card on April 1 (the first day of the next financial year) before the national media in Delhi?” he asked
Mr. Arumugam said if the DMK government did not release its report card, MNM would release one with all details including the unfulfilled poll promises
“We are not asking the DMK government to fulfil all its 505 poll promises in 10 months. But, we are urging the Chief Minister to release the report card on fulfilled promises with proof,” he added.
