MMA fans have slammed "p****" Dillon Danis for withdrawing from his fight with KSI.
YouTube star KSI was set to make his latest appearance in the ring next Saturday at the OVO Wembley Arena against MMA fighter Danis, who attacked his rival at a press conference prior to the announcement. The pair had traded verbal barbs for weeks as the battle drew closer and Danis had vowed to end his rival's short stint in the boxing ring.
However news broke today that Danis had withdrawn from the fight with KSI's manager Mams Taylor revealing that he had been told the American was "underprepared". Fans have now noticeably slammed the notorious troll for his withdrawal, with one writing: Dillion Danis is the biggest p**** ever."
Another agreed: "I would have respected him more if he fought injured and lost than this. You can’t talk all that trash and then pull out. Yikes." A fan added: He realised this was gonna be the last shred of his credibility gone if a YouTuber out boxes him or possibly stops him."
One fan suggested they had predicted the withdrawal, writing: "He even hinted at someone pulling out or it getting cancelled last week. I knew this was coming." Another agreed: "Yeah he said that his 'training' basically consisted of hitting the bags with some friends at random gyms. KSI has enough money to afford the best coaches and gyms money can buy. Dillon would have been picked apart."
Another fan had a wider theory about influencer boxing, adding: "I am convinced these influencer boxing events get hyped up for the narrative and they see their PPVs don't sell so they bail out. I can't believe people actually eat this s*** lmao." One fan followed KSI's earlier rant concluding: "What a b****! Can’t lose if you don’t fight eh Dillon? Back to the keyboard you go! Moron."

KSI himself was left angered by the withdrawal which has now seen him forced to replace Danis at short notice with a fight against fellow content creator FaZe Temperrr. In a vicious rant, the British star dismissed his rival's reasons and had the final word with the rivalry now appearing closed.
"I mentioned at the press conference that Dillon was being haunted by me," KSI said in a statement. "He made his excuses and knew he couldn't handle what I bring to a boxing ring. This answers the question whether he's a fighter or not. He's a warrior alright, a keyboard warrior, and hopefully he's learnt to leave the real men to speak with their actions rather than hollow words.
"That being said, my focus won't be distracted from the task at hand and that's FaZe Temper. We've come head-to-head plenty of times with the Sidemen and FaZe Clan competing against each other, and it looks like we have another challenge on our hands. Credit to Temper for stepping up like a REAL fighter."
