MLS Power Rankings: Columbus Crew Climb To The Top Spot

The Major League Soccer action continued with Matchday 4, and ESPN has released its latest Power Rankings to reflect the performances of all 29 clubs in the league. The rankings are based on a combination of key season statistics, recent performance, and expert observations.

Minnesota United impressed with a 2-0 win over LAFC, showcasing their potential under new boss Eric Ramsey. The LA Galaxy settled for a 3-3 draw against St. Louis, with Joseph Paintsil standing out as a key player for the team.

Chicago Fire secured a dramatic 4-3 win over CF Montreal, with Kellyn Acosta scoring a wind-assisted goal in the 99th minute. The New York City FC earned their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC.

On the other hand, teams like New England Revolution, FC Dallas, and San Jose Earthquakes faced defeats in their respective matches, highlighting areas for improvement in the upcoming fixtures.
