MLB star Aaron Judge pitched San Francisco Giants move by 49ers NFL stars and Steph Curry

Aaron Judge remains a wanted man across Major League Baseball, with the former New York Yankees star now a free agent.

Judge was awarded the MVP award after breaking the American league record for single home-runs in a season (62) in 2022, and is considering his future after leaving the Yankees. Multiple teams have shown interest, and it's expected that Judge could sign the biggest MLB contract of all-time.

But with a scramble to secure his signature, even stars from other sports are attempting to lure Judge to their area in America. And Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been joined by members of the 49ers as they look to bring Judge to San Francisco.

The Warriors are the reigning NBA champions, and the 49ers are certainly in and around the conversation when it comes to the NFL post-season. After losing the Super Bowl in the fourth quarter back in 2020, Kyle Shanahan has been keen to get them back to the biggest American football game of them all.

And the San Francisco Giants could use a boost in MLB too, with Judge being perhaps the best option available in the sport. Judge has recently visited the Giants, with the organisation said to be 'elated' with their meeting.

It would take a huge offer from the Giants, but members of the 49ers squad have joined Curry in attempting to convince Judge that his future is on the west coast. And as Judge is originally from California, a move could be on the cards.

49ers stars Drake Jackson, Willie Snead IV, Talanoa Hufanga and Marcelino McCrary Ball have sent messages to Judge from the locker-room asking him to make the move. "Aaron Judge, you need to come home bro," said Jackson.

"It's beautiful out here, wherever you are right now, I bet it's not like this," he added. "If you sign for the Giants, those are three potential championship winning teams right here in San Francisco," Snead IV teased to Judge.

And Curry has also been doing his bit, although he was unable to meet Judge in person this time around. The NBA star did confirm that messages had been sent though, and he was a lot more coy than the 49ers squad.

"I can neither confirm nor deny," Curry told NBC Sports Bay Area late Wednesday night at Chase Centre. "I've met him before this, we’ve talked before."

The Yankees are expected to offer Judge a huge deal, after their initial extension was rejected by the outfielder. The rest of MLB is watching to see where Judge decides to go, with his future still up in the air.
