MLB fans were in disbelief after Nick Castellanos hit a HR on the day Joe Biden dropped out of presidential election

When President Joe Biden announced Sunday that he would withdraw from the U.S. presidential election, the sports world basically all had the same thought:

Nick Castellanos was about to turn into prime Barry Bonds. And, of course, he delivered on that prediction.

The Phillies outfielder has long managed to hit home runs during major news events or noteworthy deaths. The meme took a life of its own when he hit a home run during Thom Brennaman’s on-air apology, and Castellanos — despite not being a fan of the meme — has kept it going by hitting dingers at the wildest times ever since.

He hit a home run on the same day that Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt. And in the ninth inning on Sunday — shortly after Biden’s announcement — he did this:

He can’t keep getting away with it!

MLB fans were shocked that the jokes came to fruition. The legend of Castellanos continues.
