MLB All-Star 2023 starting lineups for the AL and NL

Although it would have been super cool to have Shohei Ohtani hit for the American League AND be the starting pitcher, it wasn’t going to happen given his blister situation.

But he will be the starting designated hitter for the AL squad, with New York Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole starting the Midseason Classic on Tuesday. On the National League side? It’ll be leading MVP candidate Ronald Acuna Jr. leading off and Zac Gallen (who leads the NL with 11 wins, a 2.77 FIP and 1.048 WHIP) on the mound.

The rest of the lineups? Check them out below as we get set for the game in Seattle, and here are the injury replacements and full rosters for both teams.
