It's that time of year again. No, we're not talking about the holidays. We're talking about The Lyst Index dropping its quarterly report on what's trending. For the third quarter of 2024, there are some shakeups and some new entries to the list that relies on Lyst shoppers' behavior, product views, sales and even social media mentions.
Miu Miu comes out on top, reclaiming the hottest brand title from Loewe. Although the Jonathan Anderson-led brand sits at number two. Prada lands in third place, Saint Laurent is fourth and Alaïa is fifth. (It helps that the latter has the most in-demand product of the season, aka those fishnet ballet flats.) Bottega Veneta, Jacquemus, Gucci, The Row and Valentino round out the top 10 in that order. There's also a handful of newbies, including Ralph Lauren, TOTEME, Victoria Beckham and Chloe.
After Alaïa's still in-demand flats, Coach's Suede Brooklyn Shoulder Bag, Puma's Speedcat OG Sneakers, Miu Miu's Arcadie Suede Bag and TOTEME's Country Jacket secure spots in the hottest products category. Ganni, Tom Ford, Longchamp, Clarks and The Frankie Shop also appear. It's interesting to note that several of the forces behind the most-wanted items don't show up on the hottest brand roundup.
