Ian Burchnall says Notts County had to "dig in" as they snatched a last-gasp point against Yeovil at Meadow Lane.
The Glovers had taken the lead after the break when Alex Bradley fired into an unguarded net after a terrible backpass from Ed Francis caused panic in the Magpies' defence.
Notts, who saw skipper Kyle Cameron substituted due to a hamstring injury, almost equalised when Ruben Rodrigues was denied by Grant Smith at the near post.
But Alex Lacey grabbed an equaliser in nine minutes of stoppage time when he headed in Matt Palmer's free-kick.
Reflecting on the performance, head coach Burchnall said: "I thought in the first half, again, we should have put the game to bed or at least score the opening goal.
"The goalkeeper made a couple of great saves and Ruben had a huge chance. It felt like we had good control.
"We made a mistake for their goal and it was really their only opportunity they had. We gifted it straight to them.
"When you do that then they had a period where they had energy behind them and it took us a while to recover. We had to dig in, we didn't give up and managed to salvage a point out of it."
