Tayside Police have confirmed that a vulnerable man missing for nearly a week has been traced safe and well.
Officers initially released CCTV footage of Jamie Collins in a bid to track him down.
The 20-year-old was caught on camera near Ninewells Hospital on Tuesday evening.
He had vanished from the Whitfield area earlier in the day.
Social media users shared the appeal and much to the relief of everyone involved, Jamie was traced safe and well last night.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that Jamie Collins 20 who had been reported missing from the Whitfield area of Dundee has been traced safe and well.
“Thanks to all who engaged with our appeal.
“Missing People operate a free confidential helpline 7 days a week from 9am – 11pm for anyone who is thinking of going missing, is currently missing, or has friends or family who are missing.
