Missing teen spotted in Edinburgh McDonald’s as police catch glimpse of her on CCTV

A missing Scottish teen was spotted at Edinburgh’s South St Andrews Street McDonald’s over the weekend as police are still urgently searching for her.

Police Scotland confirmed that the last known sighting of 14-year-old Emma Goddard was at 10.30am on Saturday in an Edinburgh McDonald’s. A photo from CCTV shows the teen wearing a black puffer coat, glasses and a black beanie hat.

Goddard was reported missing from her home in Stevenson in North Ayrshire on 1 September, and Police Scotland are appealing for assistance from the public to locate the teen.

Emma has been known to use the names Aster and Connor. She is described as 5ft5 with short red/auburn hair, wearing glasses and last seen in the clothing from the McDonald’s CCTV image.

Police said Emma is known to use the train and has previously travelled as far as Blackpool and Fife areas.

Emma was also previously the subject of a missing person’s search in mid-July.
