Missing teen girl sparks frantic police search

Police are searching for a missing teenage girl who has disappeared.

Hannah Snodgrass was last seen leaving her home in Bridge of Weir around 12.30 pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, August 24).

The 15-year-old was wearing a black fleece style jacket, a white and pink t-shirt, blue leggings and black and white Converse trainers when she was last seen, as illustrated by the photo below.

The Gryffe High School pupil is described as being white, 5ft 4ins tall, with a slim build, and long fair/blonde hair.

Police say that Hannah is known to frequent Bridge of Weir, Braehead and the surrounding areas and also has links to the Patna area of East Ayrshire.

A Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Police Division spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen Hannah since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3969 of August 24."
