A Scots OAP who went missing from his home in the early hours of the morning has been traced.
Henry McNeill left his home in the Innellan area of the town of Dunoon, Argyll and Bute at around 5am on Sunday, December 18.
The 80-year-old was driving his green VW Passat car, registration AD59 UTL, and went in the direction of the A83. His family said he often goes for a drive but is never normally away from home for more than two hours.
Officers investigating his disappearance have since confirmed he has been found and is safe.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that Henry McNeil, 80, who had been reported missing in the Dunoon area has been traced safe.
"Thank you to everyone who helped with our earlier appeal for information."
