Missing schoolboy, 12, last seen boarding bus traced after public appeal

A missing schoolboy who was last seen boarding a bus to Glasgow City Centre has been traced safe and well after a frantic search.

Jude Fox from Neilston, Barrhead has been spotted at around 10.30am on Thursday morning at Clarkston Toll, Clarkston.

He was believed to have boarded the number 6 bus towards Glasgow City Centre.

The 12-year-old is also known to frequent the Paisley and Linwood areas.

Police were appealing for information to help trace the boy but have now confirmed Jude has been traced safely.

He is described as being around 5ft in height, of slim build and has short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing black trousers and possibly a black/grey Nike top with yellow stripes on the sleeves.

Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Police said: "Anyone who has seen Jude or who has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1635 of 18 August, 2022."
