Missing person search stood down as man's body found in Dublin

A missing person appeal has been stood down following the discovery of a body in Dublin.

Warren Byrne, aged 40, was last seen in Arklow on May 22. Gardai had renewed their appeal for information on his whereabouts last week.

His body was found in Phoenix Park on Friday, June 2. A garda spokesperson said: "Following the discovery of a body of a male in Phoenix Park, Dublin on Friday, June 2, 2023, the missing person appeal for Warren Byrne, aged 40 years has been stood down."
