A missing mum has been found dead in a ravine - after sending her daughter money and a chilling message.
Debbie Collier, 59, from Georgia, US, transferred her daughter £2,100 along with a message reportedly saying: “They are not going to let me go, love you.”
Her body was found on September 11 after she left her home in a rent SUV - as the mum dropped her car off to be repaired.
Debbie's daughter Amanda Bearden, 36, told police she had left her home with just her debit card and driving licence as she left home.
The SUV was tracked using the satellite's radio which showed she was more than 60 miles from her home, Habersham County Sheriff’s Office revealed.
The County Sheriff located Debbie's body in a ravine after the mum was reported missing.
According to reports, cops are treating Debbie's death as a homicide - with the initial suggestions reporting she was the subject of a kidnap.
Daughter Amanda told police she was unexpectedly given more than £2,100 on her banking app along with a chilling message saying: "They are not going to let me go, love you.”
Amanda told Athens Clarke County police she was suddenly in receipt of the money - which she didn't ask for - as the terrifying message left her scared for her missing mother.
Debbie and her husband had got married in 2013 with the mum said to have enjoyed lots of family trips away.
Her friends and family have yet to speak out around the circumstances in which she went missing.
