Missing Motherwell teenager sparks urgent police appeal to help trace her

Police in Bellshill and Motherwell are appealing for help to trace a teenager who has been reported missing.

Eleyza Mohammed was last seen about 11.40pm last night (February 10) in the Newarthill / Carfin area of Motherwell.

Eleyza is described as 5ft 8 inches tall. When last seen she was wearing a green Adidas hoodie and green Adidas jogging trousers. Eleyza also may or may not be wearing a head covering.

Anyone with any information can contact Police on 101 or using the "Contact Us" form on the Police Scotland website here.

Alternatively they can file a report anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.

UPDATE: Eleyza has been found safe & well.
