Missing man known to enjoy long walks in Scotland may have travelled to Glasgow as cops launch search

A man who has been missing for over a month may have travelled toScotland , according to police who are heading up an urgent search investigation.

John Binsley disappeared from the village of Yoxall in Staffordshire, England on Thursday, June 23, and last made contact with loved ones the day after.

The 71-year-old has not been seen or heard from since, and cops are now appealing for the public's help in their ongoing efforts to trace him, as they believe he may be in Scotland.

John has previously travelled to Glasgow and has walked extensively all over the country. He is also known to have visited Southport, Liverpool and Ramsgate down south.

He is described as white, approximately 5ft 9in, of a medium build with grey hair and a beard.

Anyone who has seen John or may have any information on his whereabouts is being urged to contact officers in Staffordshire via 101, Facebook or Twitter, quoting incident 406 of 23 June.
