Missing Lanarkshire man sparks urgent police search as officers appeal to the public

A missing Lanarkshire man has sparked a major police search.

Leszek Stanislaw Bebenek, 64, has been reported missing from his home in Motherwell. He was last seen at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, June 14, in the Fife Drive area.

Police are now appealing to the public in an urgent bid to trace the man's whereabouts. He is described as having a slim build, short grey hair, clean shaven and wears glasses, with an AC/DC tattoo on his upper right arm.

When last seen, Leszek was wearing black trousers, a black AC/DC T-shirt, black denim jacket and a pair of walking boots.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "If you have seen Laszek or have any information that would assist in tracing him please contact Police on 101 and quote incident number 4590 of 14 June, 2023."
