UPDATE: GAVIN LAIDLAW HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE AND WELL.
An appeal has been launched to trace a 46-year-old man who was reported missing from the East Kilbride area shortly before 11am on Tuesday, March 7.
Missing Gavin Laidlaw was spotted on foot on the A726 in the village of Chapelton - between East Kilbride and Strathaven - shortly before 3.30pm yesterday.
Gavin is described as white, around 5ft 5in, of slim build with dark hair and a star tattoo on his face.

He was last known to be wearing a black top, grey jumper, black trousers and black trainers. Enquiries are ongoing and Police Scotland is appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
