A 14-year-old girl from Twickenham who went missing last Thursday has been found “safe and well”, the Met Police have said.
In a statement on Monday morning, the force confirmed Clementine Reardon had been located.
She was reported missing on April 21 and was last seen earlier that day.
It comes after a number of appeals for information were issued by her desperately worried family and by police on social media.
Her father had urged anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to come forward, writing on Facebook: “We are very worried about her and need her home.”
Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor also tweeted an appeal, writing: “This is a friend’s daughter so please let the police know if you see Clementine.”
