As authorities in Austin, Texas, actively seek information about the whereabouts of 29-year-old Brenna Swindell, her family is warning that she is in danger, and would "never" willingly abandon her three children.

Swindell was reportedly last seen in Austin on August 22. Her family grew alarmed when they lost contact with her and found her phone had been turned off.

Their concern only heightened when they discovered that her white Kia Carnival, Texas plate VFS7528, was also missing.

A post to Facebook by Brenna's family states her vehicle was last seen on I-25 in Colorado on Friday evening and may have also been spotted in Colorado Springs on Sunday evening.

Swindell is thought to be with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry. The family alleged in the Facebook update that Guidry assaulted her last month.

The Austin Police Department is leading the investigation and is working to activate the GPS on Brenna's vehicle to determine its location.

However, police are facing challenges due to the fact that both Swindell's and Guidry's cell phones are turned off, further complicating efforts, according to the family.

Brenna Swindell's father, Greg Swindell, a Houston native, Texas Longhorn legend, and former Astros player, is deeply involved in the search for his daughter.

The family is urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that Brenna would never willingly leave her children and expressing concern that she may be in serious danger.

Brenna is described as 5'5" tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair often styled in a high ponytail. She has distinctive tattoos, including a floral sleeve on one arm and a spider web on her other shoulder, according to Click2Houston.
