Miss Dublin 2022 searching for woman with 'beauty, poise, and personality'

The search is on for Miss Dublin 2022 as this year marks over seven decades of the Miss Ireland competition.

Dubliners have been asked to put their name in the hat for what is expected to be the largest and most spectacular show this summer.

The winner will follow in the footsteps of Miss Dublin Ciara Whelan (24) from Inchicore in Dublin who completed her Master's degree in Human Resource Management in Trinity College Dublin and works as a recruitment coordinator.

Dublin was also represented by Miss Dublin West Shauna Beakey (19) from Tallaght who just completed a Performance Art’s course in Theatre, TV and Film.

The Miss Dublin competition will see one winner "with beauty, poise, and personality" represent the county in Miss Ireland 2022.

The winner of each of the county crowns and sashes also enjoy representing their county and title throughout the year at various events, awards and appearances.

Last year's winner Pamela Uba (26), captured the hearts of the nation with her incredible story and has been making waves internationally.
