Miranda Lambert's dishware set taps into a color trend that's reshaping our kitchens and table settings – and it's under $40 (for a limited time)

Miranda Lambert.

Color enthusiasts have been reveling in the dopamine decor trend for a while now – but this season, designers are getting even more serious about using color in unexpected places.

'This year, people will be embracing color like never before, and it isn’t just about rolling out a new shade on the walls,' comments color expert and designer Sophie Robinson. 'Adding bold color into our homes through accessories is always an instant hit as we look for ways to bring the joy of color and a touch of our personalities into our space.'

The best place to start? The kitchen – or, more specifically – your cookware. We've got our eyes on a set from Miranda Lambert's Wanda June line at Walmart, which comes with four dinner plates, four dessert plates, and four cereal bowls in shades of green, blue, yellow, and orange. It's dopamine decor if we ever saw it – and it's on sale now.

Adding colorful bowls, plates, and glassware into a kitchen is an excellent way to make use of open shelving units. While closed cabinetry is great for keeping clunky appliances out of sight, the beauty of open shelves is that they can display beautiful ceramics, like Lambert's dishware set, out in the open, where they can function as decor.

We also love how the Wanda June set is stackable, allowing for easy placement on shelves and a uniform appearance when individual items are placed on top of one another. This also helps prevent any slippage between dishes.

'Greige and neutrals have had their moment; the time is now to celebrate bold, beautiful color on your table and in your home,' Robinson adds (in her trend report for Le Creuset).

The Wanda June Marfa Sunset set was originally $49.97 but is on sale now for $39.98 (as part of the best Black Friday homes deals currently on the market). Below, we've rounded up some other colorful kitchen products that would be perfect for displaying on open shelves, on your countertops, or on any tablescape. Happy shopping!
