A driver had a miracle escape after their car flipped onto its side on a busy Ayrshire road.
Emergency services raced to the scene outside Hillfoot Road shops in Ayr around 5pm yesterday, with fire crews, police and paramedics responding.
Pictures taken at the scene by an eyewitness show a blue car completely flipped onto its side. The car's wing mirror is damaged, and the windscreen was spotted smashed.
Images show how the car had wiped out a post box during the crash.
Incredibly, the driver walked away with no injuries.
Police confirmed the crash only involved the one vehicle.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 5.05 pm on Tuesday, 25 October 2022 police received a report of a one vehicle crash on Hillfoot Road, Ayr.
“There were no reports of anyone injured.”
