Minor girl assaulted in Eluru dist.

Eluru Vijayawada

A 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted reportedly by some miscreants at Kaikalur in Eluru district. The victim, who was studying eighth standard, was shifted to Vijayawada for treatment.

Following a complaint by the girl, a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, has been registered. The Kaikalur police are investigating the case.
