Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was recently arrested on suspicion of DUI near Los Angeles International Airport. The incident occurred when Addison was allegedly found asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle on Interstate 105. According to the arrest report, responding officers discovered a white Rolls-Royce blocking one lane with the driver asleep behind the wheel.
The 22-year-old Addison was arrested late Friday night and subsequently released from jail early Saturday morning. The team issued a statement acknowledging the arrest and mentioned that they are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.
Following the arrest, Addison did not immediately address the situation. Instead, he shared photos of himself at a football camp and having lunch on his social media accounts.
Addison recently completed his first season with the Vikings after being selected as the No. 23 overall pick in the 2023 draft. Throughout the season, he showcased his skills with 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. His performance was particularly notable as he received increased targets due to injuries suffered by teammate Justin Jefferson.
Prior to his professional career, Addison excelled as a college football player at Pittsburgh before transferring to USC.
