A local small business owner in Minnesota has expressed strong criticism against Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz, labeling him as 'the worst governor we've ever had in Minnesota.' Diane Kruger, who operates a business in the state, voiced her discontent with the impact of Walz's policies since assuming office.

During an interview at the Cottonwood County Fair in Minnesota, Kruger lamented the perceived negative effects of Walz's governance, stating, 'He has ruined our state. I am angry and disgusted.' She attributed her business's struggles to policies enforced by Walz, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a significant decline in income.

Kruger also criticized what she described as 'radical' policies implemented by Walz, including expanding access to abortion and mandating the presence of tampons in male restrooms for transgender individuals in schools. She expressed concerns about the potential consequences of a Harris-Walz administration, warning that it could lead to the United States becoming a 'communist country within a year.'

She blames Walz's policies for negatively impacting her business.

Other small business owners and residents in Minnesota have echoed Kruger's sentiments regarding Walz's tenure as governor. Rep. Pete Stauber highlighted concerns raised by businesses in the state, citing issues such as high income tax rates and tax burdens on Minnesotans.

In response to the criticism, a spokesperson for the Harris-Walz campaign defended the governor's record, emphasizing his leadership in steering Minnesota through challenging times and implementing policies that benefited working families.

One business owner in St. Paul recounted the devastation faced during the 2020 George Floyd riots, expressing disappointment in Walz's perceived failure to protect businesses like his.
